Square eyes... well, more like rectangular actually

Boy has today been a busy day. Got up late, ate leftovers for breakfast and didn't really get started working until just before lunch I think. But then... it was all action stations. I watched heaps of the P3 videos that I hadn't seen yet and then got stuck into creating another website. It's now 9.30pm and the website is 95% done. Ben's Birthday

It was yesterday... but today it gets mention in a post because we're eating leftovers. Chinese takeaways and cheesecake... for breakfast! Yummmm :-)

Over the de-motivation...

It's been a busy, productive afternoon. It's nice when I get to the end of the working day and I feel like I may have actually earned the glass of wine I'm gonna have. I finished off a whole site today. I had already done the hardest part, which for me is the research and writing of the first (most important) post. But I did ALL of the rest of it this afternoon. I told myself that all I had to do was work solidly for an hour and then at the end of the hour I could do whatever I wanted to. Well that was 3 hours ago. When I got to one hour I was already in the groove and overcome the hurdle of what I thought was a hard task. So I just stayed put and now I'm finished! TV Time

Last night all we did all night was watch TV ... all night. Okay, well all 'I' did was watch TV, Ben seemed to find stuff to do on his computer but all I could be bothered doing was vegeing on the couch. Okay, so I'll work today instead.

Contract Extended

So it seems my temping role is going really well, they're suitably
impressed and have asked me to stay on for another 3 months. Goodo!
I'm quite happy with that. I like the work (enough), the people are
nice but geez... the pay sux big time!!!!

Slept In!!

Oh my goodness, what a way to start the day.

A phone call that I thought was my alarm going off, was actually my
sister ringing to say she was waiting outside!

A dash to get dressed, no time for a shower, grab some food for
breakfast and lunch and then fly out the door.

Doesn't do anything good for the nervous system or anything!

Lampworking

Did you know that lampworking is a craft where you make beautiful
stuff out of glass? Jewellery and beads, figurines, paper weights and
stuff. I never knew that! I do now. :-)
